What type of Marketer are you?

Hi I'm Jay Simons, I'm always amazed at how many people still use heavy handed tactics to market their Home Based Business' , Programs or Sales in general. As you can imagine, I receive a tremendous amount of pitches via email, phone and even in person to some extent. I love to hear passion and conviction but tire quickly when the "Close" arrives far too soon after being first exposed to what the marketer has to offer. Call me "Old School" in that, I don't like the "Pressure Cooker" approach and would rather gather the information and thoroughly peruse it. Then I like to ask a great deal of questions, the more questions I ask, the better a sign it is for the marketer, but know that these questions are bringing up possible "Red Flags" or reasons for me not to do business and as I bring them up, I expect the marketer to satisfy my concerns by replacing them with truthful favourable answers based on wisdom and knowledge. Then I like to hypothetically try the proposition on for size while doing my own due diligence, this way I don't base my decision on hype or no homework on my part, after-all, you can hardly blame the marketer for your lack of success if you haven't taken the proposal seriously, unless you've been lied to. Keeping in mind that the marketer is passion filled and a true believer of his or her program or product, one must most assuredly step back and ask for feedback from one's own peers and get a third party perspective, once that has come back positive, watch for your energy and conviction to gain speed and the marketer, if he/she has given you the proper amount of room to allow for this to take place, will find you taking the next step in joining or buying into and or possibly purchasing your product with a mental posture of certainty. This I feel, is the successful approach we all aspire for when marketing our product, services or programs.

On a final note, avoid becoming part of the infamous marketing NFL (No Friends Left) and Joint Venture with Marketers like myself who have mastered "Passive Marketing" techniques and don't promise the "Get Rich Quick" ideals.

The people I work with in Joint Ventures are friends whether we're doing business or having fun, it's called "True Relationship Marketing".

And remember, the success you achieve in life is based on matching your energy with another's and leveraging your energy together.

Network to enjoy great relationships, the money will almost always follow :)

In Success,
